Hello AJS Families,
It has been a busy school year and it's hard to believe we are more than half-way through. The students have been working hard and learning so much! We are learning to be readers and writers.
We will face some challenges this year. I feel confident that as we all work together, we can overcome the challenges and we can finish the school year strong! Together we work hard, show perseverance, and achieve. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with your amazing children!
The key to being a "good reader" is PRACTICE! Twenty minutes a day CAN and WILL make a difference! Please read with your child! There are so many different ways to read: books, magazines, comics, newspapers, recipe cards or cookbooks and the Internet. You can even put the closed-captioning on while you watch TV. Reading is the key to success!
I am so proud of my students! I am proud of all the amazing students at AJS!! They are soaring high like the eagles they are meant to become. Thank you for your support and help at home! Keep reading and keeping looking forward to better days!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Karpinski
